Missions

The Southern Pines United Methodist Church considers outreach and missions to be a vital part of our ministry. Mission is central to John Wesley's theology of Acts of Piety and Acts of Mercy. Acts of Piety include worshipping, praying, reading and studying the Bible. Acts of Mercy include reaching out to others with compassion and striving towards justice for all people.
The Outreach Committee strives to make this a better world for our brothers and sisters in need. We carry out our mission through soliciting donations and by recruiting volunteers for opportunities for service both locally and globally.
We are always looking for new ideas and persons to expand our
