School Age Programs
Early Elementary Class
Children in kindergarten through second grade explore Bible lessons
together. They participate in rotating activity centers as defined by
the Power Xpress curriculum. Each week families need to check the
rotation schedule posted on the Sunday School bulletin board (in the
preschool hallway) to discover the activity and room location for the
morning. Children learn Bible lessons through food, science, computers,
games, drama, and movies. These fun activities cause children to become
excited about their faith.
Middle Elementary Class
Children in third and fourth grade explore the Bible as a class. They
are a part of the rotating activity center program called Power Xpress.
Each week families need to check the rotation schedule posted on the
Sunday School bulletin board (in the preschool hallway) to discover the
activity and room location for the morning. Children learn Bible stories
through food, science, computers, games, drama, and movies. These fun
activities help young children apply Biblical lessons to everyday life.
Junior High Sunday School Class
Youth in grades 5-8 share weekly lesson material which is Bible-based
and pertinent to today's teens and the world in which they live. Junior
High students explore their faith through brain-teasing Bible games and
activities that link scripture to daily living.
Senior High Sunday School Class
Senior High students prayerfully look at the values, beliefs, practices
and concerns of this age group. Passages of the Bible are examined, and
the teens are challenged to look at what Jesus said about these values,
while letting the Holy Spirit be the guide for life. Promoting a deeper
experience of spirituality, meditation, introspection and prayer are
vital components of this learning experience
