Thanks for visiting our website and we hope you will visit us in person! As an active faith community, our concept of "church" stretches far beyond the brick and mortar walls on our campus. In fact, we believe that how we live out our faith beyond the walls of our building is often more important than what we do inside the building. The ministry of SPUMC encompasses worship, discipleship, and mission opportunities. Each provides a way that you can connect with God and with others, both of which are important. This page will provide you with an idea of what is offered on Sundays when you visit. We hope that you will join us as we transform lives, uplift hearts and grow together in Christ through mission, worship, discipleship, and fellowship. Feel free to contact the church office and/or one of the ministers to chat. We would love to see you soon!

SUNDAY MORNING CLASSES
There are two Youth Sunday morning classes, a junior high class and a senior high class. Opportunities for learning are significant in the life of youth, who are not simply "our future" but are the present. The Youth at SPUMC are a vital part of who we are as a community, and their presence in our community is cherished. As such, they have a space where they can be who they are while learning who God is.
INFANTS & CHILDREN
Beginning at 8:15 each Sunday morning, children from birth to two years are welcomed in the nursery. The nursery remains available to parents for their children through the end of the 11:00 worship service. More nursery information can be found at the menu to the right. For children ages three to seven, we offer a worship opportunity designed just for them, Kids' Own Worship. Children are invited to take part in KOW after the children's message each Sunday. More information about KOW can be found at the menu to the right.
The center point on Sundays is worship. At SPUMC, we have two worship opportunities--both good options, but different in nature. The first is an 8:30 "blended service." Our aim is to blend elements of traditional and contemporary worship, as we invite our congregation and all members of our community to offer new expressions of praise, prayer and music in worship to God. The 11:00 service is a traditional service. Our aim is to worship the Living God by participating in the historic expressions of the church's liturgy and music. This service stands in the stream of the Wesleyan tradition.
Sunday School is offered to all people beginning at
three years old. This is an opportunity for both children and adults to gather amongst peers and discuss topics relevant to their life in the present time, and grow in their discipleship. For children, Sunday School classes are designed to keep them engaged so that the lessons are fun but also informative. Children's Sunday School classes are offered based on age. There are several adult classes offered. Though each class is unique, each one provides adults with a safe and loving community.
