Nicole Skadburg: Assistant Teacher in the one’s classroom
I became a part of this amazing team after my daughter’s first year here at the school in 2018. I’ve been a substitute teacher in all the classrooms and made a decision to stay with the one-year-olds. When my husband can get time off from the military, we love to camp, hang out with friends, and visit our favorite place, Walt Disney World.

Hello and welcome to Southern Pines United Methodist Church Child Development Center “Little People Loving and Learning.” I am so glad you, your family and little one(s) are here. Whether this is your first year with us or your fourth, welcome! Little People Loving and Learning has been developed to provide a safe and nurturing atmosphere where young children can grow and explore as individuals.
We are committed to empowering children by teaching and modeling Christian love and values while promoting self-respect and respect for others. We will provide developmentally appropriate activities designed to stimulate learning of skills necessary for entering kindergarten.
Through whole group activities, small groups, center time and individual attention we plan for children to thrive in a hands-on environment where exploration and creativity are encouraged. We value the power of play and respect the importance of a robust and well-balanced curriculum.
We would love to hear from you!
