Chancel Choir
Come join us for fellowship and praise! Chancel Choir provides music primarily for the traditional service, yet also sings at the early service on occasion throughout the year. Beyond providing music for weekly services, the choir enjoys singing for assisted living communities at different points throughout the year and is richly connected with a variety of other aspects of our church life.
Chancel Choir also looks forward to producing the annual Advent Cantata with Orchestra and providing opportunities for all interested members to participate in smaller ensemble settings. With so many new projects unfolding we hope that you will get involved and Come and See Us!
Handbells
Our church enjoys the tradition of the handbell choir which is comprised of both children and adult musicians. The Handbell Choir provides music for special services throughout the year and is always interested in sharing the joy and art of ringing with new friends. If you have ever considered being a part of this unique musical art form, we would love to have you start ringing with us!
Praise Band
This ministry team blends traditional and contemporary worship music accompanied by musical instruments in modern arrangements for praise and worship. If you are interested in making music with the Praise Band, contact Tommy and he will get you started!
Ensembles
SoPines UMC has several adult musical groups who provide music for worship on a monthly basis and for special services. Our Adult Ensemble rehearsals operate on a rotational schedule during the first hour of practice on Wednesday nights. Singers in these ensembles are also members of the Chanel Choir. If you would like to join one of our Adult Ensembles please contact Taylor Hickey for information. We would love to have you Join Us!

The Chancel Choir provides music on a weekly basis for the 11:00 AM traditional service, monthly at the early service, and special services throughout the year. All members and guests, from high school students to retired adults, are welcome.
