The Contemporary service features the SoPinesUMC Praise Band. It is an informal service blending contemporary and traditional styles of worship. Liturgy, song lyrics, and primary Scripture passages are integrated into an audio/visual display during the worship service.
The second service is at 11 AM is also in-person and in the sanctuary. This service is a traditional experience of worship which is lead by the SoPinesUMC Chancel Choir. This service is more liturgical in nature, and hymns feature prominently in this service of worship.
SoPines UMC values the children's worship experience, and a children's sermon is part of our 9 AM Contemporary Service. Children ages 3-7yo are invited to participate in Kids Own Worship (KOW), which begins after the children's message.

SoPines UMC offers two in-person worship experiences. The first service is a Contemporay Service at 9 AM, and the second is a Traditional Service at 11 AM. The nursery is also available from 8:45 AM - 12noon each Sunday for newborns - 2yrs. Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of each month at both services.
