Spring Studies begin February 28!
What in the World is
Going On?
What might food shortages, record-high fuel prices, natural
disasters, newly developing political alliances and an ever-volatile
Middle East have to do with Biblical Prophecy? For those wanting to
understand more of what is going on in the world now and what is coming
in the future, Rev. Sweeley will lead a study of Dr. David Jeremiah’s
book, What In the World Is Going On?, which has been on the New
York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today best seller lists. The
class will meet for 10 weeks, beginning February 28, and costs $10 for a
study guide. Participates will watch a weekly DVD and will discuss
material in the study guide.
Living Theology
What United Methodists Believe and Why it Matters
Are you a theologian? If you think, ‘No, not me,” then you are like most
people, and you are wrong. We are ALL theologians. Theology simply means
thoughts or words about God, and we ALL have thoughts about God. So the
right question is not “are you a theologian?” (you are!), but rather,
are you a good one? This MATTERS because what you think about God,
shapes EVERY aspect of your life. Living Theology will be a training
course in how United Methodists think about God, and therefore how we
are to LIVE as God’s people. This study is for everyone – from those
considering Christianity to those seasoned in the faith – and will
challenge you to think deeply about and live practically in light of the
Gospel. The class will meet for 10 weeks, beginning February 28, and
costs $10 for the book,
Methodist Beliefs, by Bishop Will Willimon.

the right decisions to achieve your financial goals, including
eliminating debt, building wealth, and giving like never before. Cost:
