UNC is a repeat winner and holds the "Can Fan" title for another year!
It's Angel Tree Adoption time! This year the church is sponsoring 23 families and 30 At-Risk students.
After the first Sunday, there are only 4 families left for adoption! Contact Barbara Dice directly or select after both worship services Nov. 17th. Food Lion gift card ($20) are also needed.
All gifts need to be wrapped and returned to the Fellowship Hall to the corresponding number at the tables by Dec. 8th. If you purchase a $20 Food Lion gift card, an exclusive "Angel Gift Bag" will be available for use from the church office.
This is one of the church's long-standing Christmas giving traditions. Each person in the family group receives one clothing item, one toy per child, and one household item per adult. The At-Risk students provide a list of items with sizes. In the past two year's ALL ANGELS have been selected on the first Sunday, almost all begin selected after the early service!!!

Many thanks to everyone's donation for the March Madness "Cans from Fans" fundraiser. Your generosity blesses our church. Contributions like yours make a significant impact on the work our church is doing in the community. With your support, SPUMC can make a big difference in our community.
The total number of cans received is 471, with Appalachian State leading the charge with 165 cans. The total number of points for this year’s campaign is 12,732, far surpassing the goal of 7,000 points.
The grand dollar total for this campaign is $6,130.50.
All proceeds will be divided equally between SPUMC Food Pantry and the Coalition.
